Stripping this vintage piano chair with Easy Off Oven Cleaner

Easy Off Oven Cleaner to strip wood furniture? Yup, it isn’t just for ovens, check out how I stripped this vintage piano chair.

I’ve always wanted a vintage piano stool with glass ball claw feet 🪑🔮

After scouring the marketplace for months, I was super excited to finally find one at a decent price!

Snagged this beauty up from fb marketplace for $30! I was so excited!

Look at the details!
Gonna make it shine!

The piano chair is absolutely gorgeous but just a bit too dark for my liking.

Right away I knew I had to try the oven cleaner method I saw Natalie @vintageporch use to strip it down. I can’t believe how good it worked! 🙌

First coat of Easy Off

For this piece of furniture, I did 3 rounds of Easy Off

Each round: spray on, let sit for 20 mins, scrub with a little water and Dawn dish soap, then rinse and let dry completely.

Let dry completely in between rounds

Finally, to get the look I was going for, I applied regular household bleach with a sponge brush and let dry in sun.

Lastly, I used Rub n Buff wax to shine up the bottom of the legs. I absolutely love how this turned out!
